Estelle Vard is an attorney and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2017.
She graduated with two Master’s degrees from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas, in Industrial Property Law and in European Comparative Law.
She also holds an LL.M. in German Law from the Humboldt University of Berlin, where she graduated valedictorian.
Estelle’s practice focuses mainly on patent litigation. She also has expertise in the different branches of intellectual property law (patents, trademarks, design and copyright) and in unfair competition law, both in advisory and litigation matters.
Prior to joining Schertenleib Avocats, Estelle worked as an attorney in a French boutique law firm specializing in intellectual property law.
During her training, Estelle interned in the intellectual property departments of several law firms and in the legal department of a pharmaceutical company.
During her studies, she also worked in a French Court of Justice, and taught French Civil Law at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
Estelle speaks French, English and German.
She is the co-author of the French chapter of the book “Employees’ Intellectual Property Rights - AIPPI Law Series” published by Kluwer Law International (together with Michel Abello and Jérôme Tassi).
